The Way You Hold the Wheel Can Say a Lot About You

If you’re like most drivers, chances are you haven’t given much thought about how you hold the steering wheel. When one first learns to drive, they are taught to hold the steering wheel with two hands at all times. However, as drivers become more and more accustomed to driving, they start to form bad habits. Here is some information about how to hold the steering wheel as well as what your steering wheel grip of choice says about you as a person.

1 - The Minimalist

You like to keep life as simple as possible. You don’t surround yourself with a lot of frills, and you prefer friends that are straightforward and genuine. Rather than collecting tons of friends, you choose to stick with a few close ones. When selecting an outfit, you will pick a simple black ensemble over a loud and colorful print any day. Just because you keep your life simple, doesn’t mean you are boring. Others admire your minimalist tastes and your drama-free approach to life!

2- The Joker

You don't take yourself nor life too seriously. You're always looking for the positive, funny angle to any situation. Tension and stress have no place in your mind, preferring instead to keep things cool and breezy. You'll reach for the steering wheel once your interference is needed, but you'll otherwise let the vehicle take its own route, and that's exactly how you treat life events too.

3- The Pacifier

Just like the positioning of your hands, your opinions and actions are always leveled out. You despise conflict, choosing to always be the Switzerland of your friends and family instead. If you ever have to face off with someone, you always choose to have an agreeable discussion instead of an all out fist figh

4 - Fingertip hold

If you hold the steering wheel with just your fingertips touching, you are probably a germaphobe. You can’t imagine going anywhere without having a bottle of hand sanitizer on you.

5 - Lazy hold

This steering wheel grip involves resting both hands at the top of the steering wheel. Individuals with this steering wheel grip prefer coasting through life while doing as little work as possible.

6- The Risk Taker

Putting yourself out there is second nature to you. You think the rewards are always worth the risks, which makes you never hold back from a new experience or adventure. You’re that one person in your friend group who’s most likely to shout “let’s go skinny dipping!” at 4 am in the morning.

7 - The Adventurer

You are a risk-taker through and through. Not only do you like to live on the edge, but you believe in making the most of every moment. If you haven’t tried already, you would love thrilling activities like bungee jumping and skydiving. When it comes to love, you aren’t afraid to put yourself out there. Inevitably, your friends will have somewhat tamer tastes than you. But your “live-life-to-the-fullest” mentality earns you the respect and admiration of your loved ones!

8 - The Supporter

People love you. You are a great cheerleader for your friends and family. You are genuinely happy when others find success, and you aren’t afraid to be vocal with your support. You are a great listener, making you a prime target for friends who are seeking advice. While you may not always take life by the horns, you are happy to sit back and let others take the lead. You would much rather spend your time enjoying life with a friendly and positive outlook!

9 - Johnny Bravo

You’re the tough, cool guy, and you want everyone who drives by you to know it too. You like speeding, both in your real life and in your driving style. You exude an air of confidence and an overall vibe of not having a single care in the world. Your friends like to come to you for a good time, and you always deliver!

10 - The Bulldozer

Watch out, world – “The Bulldozer” is coming through! You are a busy person, and you do not have time for people who get in your way. Rather than wasting time on problem solving, you prefer to plow through things, leaving any obstacles in the dust. Others admire your drive and your determination, and they know they can rely on you to get things done. You are goal-oriented and action-oriented, both of which will take you very far in life!

6 tips for getting the best sun tan

While we usually like to fake (not bake) our tans, there are plenty of reasons why we love the sun. It boosts levels of serotonin (nature's own Valium, proven to alleviate anxiety). Not only that but it produces vitamin D which is good for bones, teeth and skin. But to avoid premature ageing and skin cancer risks you need to take care for a safe, sun-kissed glow.

#Always use protection

Sunscreen is mandatory to anyone thinking about tanning. To those thinking that a sunscreen prevents getting darker, it is important to consider that your skin renews itself in about ten tens and therefore the slower the tan, the higher the probability of a long last. It is advisable to apply your lotion after every two hours during tanning or immediately after getting out of the water. These precautions avoid the burning of your skin.

#Get the Right Tanning Time

Take note that your skin has a tanning cut-off point. That’s when your skin stops producing melanin, which is the tanning pigment. For an even overall tan, ideally, you should lay on your back for only about 20-30 minutes. After, go ahead and lay on your stomach for an additional 20-30 minutes. Make sure you don’t go beyond these times. This will ensure that you don’t get a nasty sunburn, or worse, the risk of UV damage.

#Protect your eyes

They can be burned, too. For tanning, though, it's better to either wear a hat or just keep your eyes closed rather than wear sunglasses. Bright light on your optic nerve stimulates the hypothalamus gland, which in turn causes the production of melanin, thus achieving a deeper tan

#Seek the Shade

In order to get that tan, you don’t have to stay under the sun for the entire day. According to Dr. Frank Schwanke, the head of suncare R&D for Beiersdorf, “Taking breaks from the sun will reduce UV intensity and your sunburn risk and means your tan will be healthier and longer lasting.” Remember, it’s very important that you pay close attention to the tips mentioned above. Because sunbathing done the wrong way will definitely cause damage. For example, when staying out under the song for too long, you might get dehydrated. If you don’t watch out, your blood pressure might drop significantly, enough to make you collapse. This is called a heat stroke.

#Hydrate

Make sure you drink plenty of water. Jump in the pool to cool yourself down now and then, too. Don't worry, this will not harm your tanning in the least. Don't forget to re-apply your sun screen afterwards.

#After you tan, moisturize

Use an aloe-based skin lotion to sooth and moisturize your skin. It will help keep your skin healthy and will prevent it from becoming flaky and dry from the sun.

The Best Celebrity Comebacks

The ebb and flow of superstardom is something of a regular thing in Hollywood. It can collapse suddenly and without warning. Or, it could take years of bad choices that suddenly render you irrelevant. Here are our choices for the greatest celebrity comebacks of all time.

#Robert Downey Jr.

Between the drugs, the arrests, and the court cases, it’s doubtful that anyone could have predicted Downey Jr’s meteoric rise to become one of the world’s most expensive actors. Not only did he take Iron Man from being a relatively unknown superhero to the one all the kids fight over being in the playground, but his appearances in Tropic Thunder and the Sherlock Holmes films have cemented his massive stardom.

#Marlon Brando

Even the greats experiences slumps. In Marlon Brando’s case, it was a ten year one. Brando was box office poison in the 60’s, and gained a bad reputation on set. However, In 1972, Brando made his major comeback with his most famous and award-winning role in Francis Ford Coppolla’s The Godfather.

#Neil Patrick Harris

Teenage Neil Patrick Harris broke out as the star of "Doogie Howser M.D." in the early '90s, but he couldn't mimic the success in the years that followed.
Finally in 2004, he made a cameo as a fictionalized version of himself in the stoner comedy "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." He followed that up with the role of Barney on "How I Met Your Mother," which earned him four straight Emmy nominations, and his career has boomed.

#Matthew McConaughey's

Matthew McConaughey broke out in Hollywood thanks to "Dazed and Confused." But by the early 2000s, he was being typecast in romantic comedies. But in 2013, McConaughey's rise began again in what The New Yorker writer Rachel Syme dubbed the "McConaissance."
He was nominated for an Emmy for "True Detective," won an Oscar for "Dallas Buyers Club," and starred in "The Wolf of Wall Street."

#Ben Affleck

While he nabbed an Oscar in 1997 for his Good Will Hunting screenplay, things went south for Affleck with Box Office flops like Gigli and the god awful Daredevil. Thankfully, he’s stuck at it. Argo which he both starred in and directed got an Oscar, and in 2015 he’s set to have another crack at playing a superhero. Some guy called Batman?

#John Travolta

After Grease, it wasn’t all rama lamma lamma ka dinga da dinga dong (sadly). A series of 80’s flops led to his fall from grace. However, a role in a little film called Pulp Fiction showed that he was capable of shaping up, and things have been pretty good for him since .

#Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin gained early recognition for parts in "Beetlejuice" and "The Hunt for Red October." His reputation was tainted in 2007 when a voicemail for his estranged daughter went public. In it, he called her a "rude, thoughtless little pig."
Baldwin worked to get his career back on track through various film and TV roles. After landing the role of Jack Donaghey on "30 Rock," Baldwin won "Best Actor" Emmy Awards in 2008 and 2009.

10 foods to avoid if you have anxiety

Some foods out there can make you feel worse, and only increase your level of anxiety if you turn to them in times of crisis. Here are the 10 foods that you definitely need to avoid when you feel that anxiety creeping up in the back of your mind. Prevent yourself from eating these, and you will be well on your way to feeling relaxed.

#Caffeine

A known stimulant and psychoactive drug, caffeine has long had a reputation for triggering the body's fight-or-flight response. Very similar to the symptoms associated with anxiety, caffeine can also make its users feel nervous, nauseous, light headed, jittery and yes, even anxious. If you're suffering through anxiety, I recommend reconsidering that morning cup of coffee and instead opt for an herbal tea or a green juice.

#Sugar

It can be easy to reach for the donut or dessert when stress or anxiety set in, but do not give in. Even though sugar momentarily makes the body energized, after a few minutes, blood sugar levels drop.
When blood sugar levels drop, feelings of anxiety kick in. If you crave something sweet when you’re anxious, eat healthy sweet foods like bananas and strawberries. Avoid table sugar and foods with added sugar.

#White flour

Speaking of sugar, white flour is a form of hidden sugar. It is basically a starch and your body turns it into sugar.
Eating sandwiches, cakes, donuts and other foods made from white flour will increase your blood sugar and your cortisone and adrenaline levels, and will give you feelings of anxiety.

#Alcohol

If you always grab a glass of wine whenever you’re anxious, you could be making things worse. Alcohol hinders the production a serotonin, which is responsible for regulating mood.
Drinking alcohol also causes dehydration, which can cause anxiety. Instead of drinking alcohol to deal with stress, try other options like deep breathing or meditation.

#Energy drinks

How about a boost of energy with a share of depression and anxiety? Energy drinks are exactly what you need. Rich in caffeine, sugar and chemicals, these drinks can cause heart rhythm disorders and sleep disturbances. Both of these factors increase feelings of anxiety and depression.

#Chips

Every time I eat chips, I always feel like I can eat a whole bag full of them, and then feel unbelievably disgusted when I actually do. The unhealthy fats in chips cause the mindless overeating that leads to depression. Yuck.

#Dairy products

Dairy products contain a protein called casein. Casein provides mammalian babies with amino acids, carbohydrates and two essential elements: calcium and phosphorus. You'll find them in high-protein dairy products like milk, yogurt, cheese and ice cream.
Casein has been associated with several ailments, including depression. Not everyone is casein sensitive so you should try a dairy-free diet for 30 days to see if protein-rich dairy products increase your anxiety. You may be able to consume it again later without side effects!

#Fast Food

Grabbing a Big Mac when you’re anxious can seem like a quick and easy option, but there are tons of chemicals and preservatives in that meal that will cause your mental state to decline rapidly. You’ll end up feeling tired, overweight, and moody at the end of the meal. It’s completely not worth it, even if you can conveniently order it at a drive-thru window.

#Spicy Foods

Spicy foods are particularly hard for anxious people’s bodies to process. Consuming spicy food tends to end in discomfort, because it will end up sitting in your stomach longer than it should. Inevitably, you’ll feel like crap. I won’t get into any further detail on this one; you all know where this ends…

#Fried foods

Not only are fried foods difficult to digest, but they also have very little nutrition. Combining poor food choices with unhealthy cooking processes is a sure-fire way to exacerbate your anxiety symptoms. Most fried foods like French fries, chicken and onion rings are cooked in hydrogenated oil. It not only does a number on your waistline, but it's also terrible for your heart.
Fried foods also may increase your risk of high blood pressure and heart disease. Moderation is key. The next time you find yourself at Five Guys, try the kiddie size fry instead of the large.

IN 2023, UBER WILL OFFER FLYING TAXIS !

The new Uber project promises to be delusional, quite simply!

The future is for tomorrow. As proof, Uber decided to launch a new challenge by proposing air taxis by 2023. A new extraordinary project that is part of a well-defined strategy on the part of the company which has decided to improve the quality of its services and especially to propose new ones. Thus, in addition to the VTC, Uber has just inaugurated its helicopter service connecting the city of New York to JFK airport.

By 2023, in addition to helicopters and cars, the firm plans to launch its service Uber Elevate, an air taxi service. If the project seems crazy, it is more than ever within reach of users. Moreover, the first test flights will begin in Los Angeles. The first trip will connect the City of Angels to the city of Dallas, Texas.

"With the growth of big cities, the heavy dependence on the private car will not be sustainable ... Uber Air has enormous potential to help reduce road closures," said Eric Allison, global head of the aviation division of the society. A video supposed to show the merits of this new service has just been released.

The 10 most crowded metro or train lines in the world, according to Google Maps

To choose a route, it's not just the journey time that counts. There are also travel conditions, and Google understands it. On Thursday, June 27th, the company announced that its Google Maps service will now display predictions of filling trains and buses when you are viewing a transit trip in the app. You will be able to know if you will be able to travel seated, or if you will have to tighten against your neighbors during the trip.

This new feature will be gradually available in almost 200 cities, says Google, on both Android and iOS. These data come from voluntary returns provided by the users of the service. Google Maps will also show the real-time bus delay in cities where it does not already have information provided by transport operators.

By collecting this data on the frequentations of the various lines, Google has also been able to draw up a list of the 10 most crowded public transport lines in the world. The company used the information provided by users during the morning rush hour, between 6am and 10am.
Only one French line is in this top 10: line 13 of the Paris metro. In addition, Google indicates that the top 3 of the most crowded lines of the Ile de France network is completed by two bus lines: the Orlybus, which connects Denfert-Rochereau to Paris-Orly airport, and bus 393, between Thiais and Sucy -en-Brie.

top 10 Countries With The Lowest Life Expectancy In The World

There are a lot of factors that contribute to a country’s life expectancy. Some of these contributing factors are economic conditions, diet, public health, access to medical care, wars, crime rate etc. Because of this, a lot of the countries on this list are African countries plagued by poverty.

#Mozambique (48.57)

The Mozambique Civil War (1977 – 1992) led to a great setback in the primary health system in this Southeast African country. With just 3 physicians per 100,000 people, it is very difficult for the locals to get even the very basic medical care.

#Angola (49.62)

The country´s economy is flourishing but the standard of living remains low for the majority of the population, and life expectancy and infant mortality rates in Angola are among the worst in the world.
