10 Mind-Blowing Things You Can Do with Coca-Cola

From getting gum off your hair to polishing chrome into a brilliant shine, these are 10 awesome practical uses for Coca-cola that will blow your mind.

#Bathroom Cleaning

Thanks to the orthophosphoric acid, Coca-Cola dissolves limescale and other impurities very well. Use a sponge or sprayer to apply the liquid. Leave it for several hours or, better still, overnight, and then wash it. By the way, this acid refers to permitted food additives and isn’t harmful if you consume it in reasonable quantities.

#Get rid of blood and grease stains

Cola contains carbonic and phosphoric acids that won’t harm you but will do some major stain-fighting action on fabrics with blood and grease. Add cola to your normal wash cycle for best results.

#Rust Removal

Coca-Cola copes perfectly with rust, so you can use the drink to loosen rusted bolts, clean metal items, and solve other problems provoked by rust. Freely pour Coca-Cola on the affected area, then rub with a sponge. If the rust is too old, use foil.

#Remove chewing gum stuck in hair

Fortunately, to remove it without going through the box "scissors", there is a simple trick: dip the wicks of your child in Coca-Cola, let act for 5 minutes at least, then rinse with water. Miracle, chewing gum will leave!

#Clean the grime off eyewear

Be sure to rinse them immediately under water and dry with a clean towel. Nothing better than clear, clean glasses!

#Soothe a wasp or hornet sting

Wasps and hornets have alkaline venom, which should be treated with acidic remedies like white vinegar — or Coke. Bees and yellow jackets, on the other hand, have acidic venoms so you’ll need an alkaloid remedy like baking soda.

#Tenderize steak

Tenderize cheap cuts of meat with Coke. Really, it works! Just marinate for at least 30 minutes for more tender meat.

#Get rid of slugs and snails

Slugs and snails love cola, but cola’s acidic qualities will kill them and keep them out of your garden.

#Clean the engine of a car

This soda is not only very effective for cleaning the car engine, but also for cleaning the battery terminals which are often damaged by rust !

#Cleans burnt pans

Fill the pan with Coca-Cola. Allow it to set in the pan for several hours, or until the food is loosened. Use a scraper to remove as much of the residue as possible, then clean with a plastic scrubber to scrub away the rest. Wash as usual.
